Victorian Event to Celebrate World Book Night

Portsmouth Libraries will be celebrating with an event the day before on Saturday 22nd April on the Third Floor of Portsmouth Central Library. The event starts at 1pm and is a Victorian books event. It will feature a talk from Arthur Conan Doyle expert Alistair Duncan on Doyle’s life immediately after leaving Portsmouth, an interval and a three round Victorian themed quiz.

Entrance is £3 on the door but places must be booked in advance by calling 023 92688064 or by emailing (tea/coffee and cake is included in the ticket price).

You can either book a place for yourself as an individual and join a team on the night or book a team (maximum number 8) – please specify.
