Wigan Library is working with the Homeless team and the Mercure Hotel in Wigan who provide temporary accommodation to those in a homeless situation. We hope to reach out to residents and offer a free book and information about the library services we offer which include book lending, tablet loan lending, digital support and events.
Wigan Library will be distributing a number of the World Book Night book One False Move by Dreda Say Mitchell with the residents at the Mercure Hotel.
This event is open to the Mercure Hotel residents only. Books will be available to collect from the library located in the Mercure Hotel from Monday 17th April.
