Speakeasy Spoken Word Larkhall Festival Spectacular

Bladud’s Head, Larkhall, Bath, doors 7:30 – arrive promptly for open mic slots.

Join in our open mic section with poems, tall tales, short stories, flash fiction, book excerpts, anecdotes, or just bring something to read you’d like to share. Bring a poem on a postcard for ‘Shhhpeakeasy Hidden Word’ to be hidden in books in local Beaufort Bookshop. There will also be a bookswap for World Book Night.

Enjoy our two brilliant guests;
Spikey Tim is a quirky and energetic performance poet who helps to run the Bristol Hammer & Tongue poetry slam, and is a part of the “Echoes & Edges” music/ poetry collective. He has been described as “anarchic and comedic” and covers diverse topics such as his incredible trampoline, being heckled by a dog, and his failed attempts to ski.

Stefan Mohamed is a Bristol-based spoken word performer and published author, including his poetry collection ‘PANIC!’, ‘Falling Leaves’ and the ‘Bitter Sixteen’ trilogy. A Bristol Poetry Festival Slam finalist, he has performed poetry and ambiguously poetry-adjacent ancillary material at various events and festivals in Bristol and beyond.
