Join us for a special evening as Lewisham Libraries celebrates World Book Night with our cosy reading & book match-making event.
In our increasingly digital world, there’s something magical about disconnecting, slowing down, and finding your next great read while connecting with fellow book lovers in your community.

What to Expect:
Cosy Reading Space: Settle into our reading lounge with a warm atmosphere perfect for getting lost in a good book.
Book Match-Making: Our librarians will play literary Cupid! Share your likes and dislikes and be matched with books you might never have discovered on your own.
Reader’s Recommendations: Leave a review of your favourite (or less than favourite) book on our review board for other library users to see.
Refreshments: Enjoy complimentary tea, coffee, and treats as you browse and read.
Special Giveaway: We will be giving away a complimentary book as part of the official World Book Night celebrations.

Who Should Attend:
This event is perfect for avid readers, those in a reading rut, or newcomers to the library. Our librarians will help you find a book to get you started or discover something new. All ages welcome, though evening activities are geared toward teen and adult readers
